THE PRODUCERS
The Fade Project was founded by two Black men who were dedicated to empowering their communities. Their journey began with a shared passion for creativity and Black culture, long before the challenges of Covid-19. Unbeknownst to them, their personal experiences with mental health would eventually shape the project's mission.

As Black men, they recognized the societal pressure to appear strong, often suppressing vulnerability and emotions. They understood that for many, the barbershop served as a sanctuary—a place to find honesty and solace without judgment. In their culture, haircuts and shape-ups represent more than grooming; they are a meaningful part of the cultural fabric
This realization inspired their vision to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and therapy for Black men. They believe that just as fresh fades are essential, so too are the care and support therapy offers. Through The Fade Project, they aim to help others embrace self-expression and emotional well-being.
